Philippa is an international authority on Behavioral Finance. She has appeared on an elite financial panel with Nobel prize-winner Daniel Kahneman, and is co-author of “The Psychology of Trading”.
She is a frequent keynote speaker at events in Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Australia.
In 2009 Philippa was named among “Hong Kong’s Most Extraordinary Women in Finance”.
Philippa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics, from the University of Natal, South Africa.
Chris began his career as a convertible bond trader at Lehman Brothers before joining the multi-billion dollar hedge fund Arrowgrass Capital Partners at inception, where he led a team of twenty investment professionals as a Senior Partner and Portfolio Manager, overseeing credit, capital structure, convertible bond, macro and volatility strategies. Chris is CEO of Alquity Investment Management.
Chris holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics from Oxford University, a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Bocconi University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Jean-Charles is a specialist in hedge fund investment. Prior to his position as Director of Investment Research at a New York-London family office he was Investment Manager at Decade Investment and Senior Research Analyst at Stenham Advisors and at Montier Partners.
Jean-Charles has both French and German masters degrees in Management. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
As Director of Emerging Markets Equities and Global Resources at Baring Asset Management, then Partner at Nevsky Capital and later Director of Emerging Market Equity at F&C Asset Management, Mike’s experience spans more than two decades of specialist investment in Asia. Mike heads Asian Investments at Alquity Investment Management.
Mike holds a First Class degree in Economics from Southampton University, where he was awarded the Pearce Rowan prize.
Roberto has specialised in emerging market investments for more than twenty years. He has headed the Barings Global Emerging Markets investment team, managed the Latin American funds at both ABN Amro Bank and ING Investment Management, and now heads the Africa and Latin America investment teams at Alquity Investment Management.
Roberto holds a BA in Economics from Boston University and an MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
